Кар'єр Константиновського
The Konstantiynivsky and Morozovsky quarries are abandoned coal mines located near the city of Oleksandriia in the Kirovohrad region of Ukraine. These sites offer dramatic post-apocalyptic landscapes featuring remnants of massive mining equipment.
Konstantiynivsky Quarry
- Location: Berezivka settlement, north of Oleksandriia.

- Opened in 1987 as the newest coal quarry under the state company "Oleksandriiaugol."
- At its peak, produced over 1 million tons of coal annually.
- Ceased operations in 2010 and is now gradually filling with water.

- A preserved ERShRD-5250 rotary bucket excavator weighing 4,100 tons and over 30 meters tall.
- A TAKRAF bucket chain excavator of German origin.
Morozovsky Quarry
- Location: Near the village of Pantaivka.
- History:
- Operated between 1970 and 2009 under "Oleksandriiaugol."
- After closure, the quarry was flooded by groundwater, creating a striking turquoise lake.
- Key Features:
- A massive ERShR-1600 rotary excavator.
- Plans for potential development as a tourist destination.
